About this pair
Read the full descriptionHide the full description
Made for men who want room through the seat and thigh without a wide leg opening look. The dark thread on a dark wash reads slightly more formal than our Relaxed Fit Dark Wash with matching thread, so it works for offices that allow denim. This is a special release with limited supply.
The fit is relaxed through the legs with a medium rise and more room in the seat. The fabric is a 10oz triblend stretch denim, a ringspun cotton warp combined with a triblend stretch weft: 85% cotton, 13% polyester, 2% elastane, woven in Parras, Mexico. Details include a Horween leather patch, a YKK zipper and a gold leaf button. We use a real indigo dye, a natural non-chemical dyeing process, which has the potential to bleed. Expect nice fading after a few months depending on how you wash them.
Wash cold and inside out, and hang or tumble dry low to protect the indigo and the stretch. Wash separately the first few times because of the indigo.
Order your usual waist. If you are between sizes, the relaxed seat and legs give you some margin, so the smaller waist is usually the better call. Tell us your inseam at checkout and we hem them free before they ship.
Questions
Good to know
Where are these jeans made?
They are cut and sewn in our family-owned factory in Chicago. The denim is woven in Parras, Mexico. The Horween leather patch, YKK zipper and gold leaf button are sourced in the USA.
What is the denim made of and does it stretch?
The fabric is a 10oz triblend stretch denim, a ringspun cotton warp combined with a triblend stretch weft. The blend is 85% cotton, 13% polyester and 2% elastane, so it has stretch.
How does the relaxed fit run and what size should I order?
The fit is relaxed through the legs with a medium rise and more room in the seat. Order your usual waist. If you are between sizes, the relaxed seat and legs give you margin, so the smaller waist is usually the better call.
Do you hem them to my inseam?
Yes. Tell us your inseam at checkout and we hem them free before they ship.
How should I wash them?
Wash cold and inside out, then hang dry or tumble dry low to protect the indigo and the stretch. We use a real indigo dye with a natural non-chemical process that has the potential to bleed, so wash them separately the first few times. Expect nice fading after a few months depending on how you wash them.
What is your return policy?
Returns are free within 30 days.
How fast do orders ship and is shipping free?

My new dress jeans for church! Soft cotton denim. The dark color looks nice.

I do a bit better with a 29 inch inseam rather than 30 (which is quite acceptable). The 14 oz denim is winter weight for us in Florida, where light 10 oz is very desirable for summer. After wearing the lighter weight, 14 oz is notably stiff, at least when new. I'm sure there will be break-in. The weight works well for landscaping projects, especially those with spiny plants.
The V2 fit is typical for jeans, and by current standards, it's a bargain (excepting a warehouse club that occasionally has a sales price of $14 for more or less disposable jeans).

was a little skeptical of ordering new jeans from here. These have turned out way better than anticipated. Comfort level is wonderful.
