This is the pair for anyone who wants room through the leg and a place to put a phone. Relaxed fit gives more room in the seat and thigh, so it works well if straight and slim jeans feel tight.
The rise is medium and sits where most people expect a jean to sit. The fabric is a 10oz triblend stretch denim, 85% cotton, 13% polyester and 2% elastane, with a ringspun cotton warp combined with a triblend stretch weft. Details include a Horween leather patch, a YKK zipper and a gold leaf button. The dark wash is dyed with real indigo, a natural non-chemical process, so expect some bleeding early on and nice fading after a few months depending on how you wash them.
Wash them inside out and wash them cold. Line drying keeps the color and the stretch in better shape. Wash them less often than you think you need to.
Sizing runs true. Order your usual waist, and if you are between sizes, the relaxed cut gives you a little more give than a straight fit does. We hem every pair to your length before it ships at no charge, so give us your inseam at checkout rather than taking them to a tailor.

How does the relaxed fit run and what size should I order?
Sizing runs true, so order your usual waist. The relaxed cut gives more room through the seat and thigh than a straight or slim jean, and the rise is medium. If you are between sizes, the relaxed cut gives you a little more give.
What is the sixth pocket for?
It is a pocket on the side of the leg sized for a phone, so your phone does not have to sit in a back pocket.

These pants fit farly well. I ordered 38/33. I could have ordered a 32 length. I do really like the cell phone pocket. I’m really tired of patch pockets and carrying my phone in my hip pocket has broken a lot of screen protectors.
The bad: material bunches up at the leg seams and cuffs. Where the sticthing runs. Looks pretty bad. Does iron out with some startch..
The front pockets are shallow. I carry a small wallet in my front pocket, it fills the pocket. Hands in pockets are not comfortable, pockets too short.
I with these were availible in 100% cotton with a bit deeper front pockets
